In August, we finally released role-based access control for everyone. Additionally, we also released conditional nodes for workflows and a few more 3rd-party integrations including Zapier!

Let's dive in!

New Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Canonic is excited to unveil our latest advancement in application security and management: the introduction of native Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Recognizing the diverse needs and responsibilities within teams, we have developed this feature to provide a granular level of control over user access and permissions.

The implementation of RBAC marks a pivotal enhancement in how you manage your applications on Canonic. It is not merely an update; it's a strategic shift towards empowering organizations with the flexibility to define and enforce access controls that align precisely with each user's role and responsibilities. By enabling administrators to assign specific roles and permissions, RBAC ensures that every user has the right level of access – no more, no less.

The new RBAC system allows you to tailor user experiences and access rights depending on their role within your organization. Whether it's limiting access to sensitive data, or granting editing rights to specific sections, RBAC brings a new dimension of security and efficiency to your workflows. It addresses the critical need for controlled access in complex projects, where the right balance between collaboration and security is essential.

This update reflects our commitment to providing robust, enterprise-grade solutions that cater to the sophisticated requirements of modern digital teams. With RBAC, you can rest assured that your Canonic applications are not only powerful and flexible but also secure and compliant with the best practices in access management.

Route workflows with Conditional Nodes

We're excited to introduce the Conditional Node in Canonic, a dynamic new feature that brings advanced logic and decision-making capabilities to your workflows. This powerful addition enables you to create sophisticated, conditional pathways within your workflows, allowing for more nuanced and responsive automation based on specific criteria.

Smart Workflow Routing with Conditional Node

The Conditional Node is designed to empower users to implement logic-based routing of data within their workflows. Whether you're building a complex application or a simple automation, the ability to make decisions based on data is crucial. With the Conditional Node, you can set up conditions that determine the flow of data and trigger different actions or paths based on those conditions. This feature is particularly useful for creating branches in your workflows, where the outcome varies depending on the data input.

The Conditional Node is incredibly easy to set up and use. Through Canonic's user-friendly interface, you can define conditions using a variety of data points. These conditions are then evaluated in real-time, directing your workflow down the appropriate path based on the criteria you've set. This level of control allows for more targeted and efficient processing, reducing manual intervention and streamlining your operations.
